Taylor Black
Director of Client Services
Taylor joined Bangor Wealth Management in May 2017 and serves as Director of Client Services, bringing a unique blend of financial experience, relationship-building, and communication expertise to the team. As the firm’s longest-tenured employee, Taylor has played an important role in helping shape the client experience and supporting the firm’s continued growth.
With a background in banking, including experience managing a banking center, Taylor understands the importance of serving clients with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Husson University in 2019 and is a graduate of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute (BRLI), Class of 2016.
In addition to her client service responsibilities, Taylor leads many of the firm’s marketing and communication efforts, including community outreach, brand development, scheduling, and client engagement initiatives. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections and ensuring that every interaction reflects the values at the heart of Bangor Wealth Management: education, empathy, and trust.
Outside of the office, Taylor is deeply committed to serving her community. In 2022, she joined the board of Empty Arms of Greater Bangor, where she served as Donations Chair, helping support families impacted by pregnancy and infant loss. She also hosts The Empty Arms Podcast, creating a space for honest conversations surrounding grief, loss, healing, and hope while connecting families and sharing stories that often go unheard.
Taylor’s passion for serving others extends beyond her professional and community work. Her family’s Golden Retriever, Zoe, is training to become a therapy dog, with the goal of bringing comfort and connection to those who need it most.
Taylor is married to Anthony, Rod’s son, and together they are raising their three children, Max, Elle, and Charlotte. She also enjoys The family lives in Holden and enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, playing board games, exploring new adventures, and sharing Taylor’s homemade baked goods with family and friends.
