Anthony Black joined Bangor Wealth Management in 2024 as Director of New Business, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry and a passion for building meaningful relationships. In his role, Anthony focuses on expanding the firm’s reach, developing strategic partnerships, and helping introduce more families and individuals to the planning philosophy that guides Bangor Wealth Management.
Throughout his career, Anthony has gained extensive experience across many areas of finance, from client service and relationship management to complex operational roles focused on compliance, risk management, and process improvement. This broad perspective allows him to understand both the client experience and the behind-the-scenes work required to deliver exceptional service. Anthony holds his FINRA Series 65 license (registered as a non-solicitor) as well as his Life and Health Insurance License.
A lifelong Maine resident, Anthony graduated from John Baptist Memorial High School before attending Husson University, where he earned his degree in Business Administration, graduating summa cum laude in 2013. He is also a graduate of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute (BRLI), Class of 2021, reflecting his continued commitment to professional growth and community leadership.
Outside of the office, Anthony’s greatest role is being a husband and father. He and his wife, Taylor, have been married for 11 years and live in Holden with their three children, Max, Elle, and Charlotte. Anthony enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams, spending time outdoors, playing golf, and creating memories with his family. Whether it’s an outdoor adventure or a simple night at home with pizza and a movie, Anthony believes the moments spent with family are the ones that matter most.
